About Me

Alberta, Canada
What's My Deal? - - - There is so much to say, but I will give you the basics in regards to this blog. I am a Canadian 20 something woman married to a wonderful man, and we are the parents to our wondeful son who was born in the fall of 2010. As you will read, I am a supporter of breastfeeding, baby wearing, co-sleeping, cloth diapering, and so much more, but mostly learning about babies! Oh, and I also love reading blogs and playing jigsaw online!!! I blog to share things that I have learned, read, heard and experienced.

It's been a while...

Well, it has been almost 4 months since I last had a blog entry, in fact, so long since that I had to go to Joelene's blog (which is amazing) to find my address, and then I had to reset my password as I couldn't remember it!!

I guess, I will just do a quick update since I was last on here.  lots has happened, friends have visited me here in Edmonton, my sister got married, my best friend had a beautiful baby girl, Kobe turned 1, Christmas, beginning of 2010, etc. etc.

Christine's Wedding was beautiful, and it was so wonderful that I was there, and was able to see Christine, what may have been the happiest I have seen her in a long time.  She was the centre of attention, and she definately deserved it!

I've been working at Martello for almost 8 months now, and I really enjoy it.  Like any job it has its challenges, and learning curves, but I also really like the industry.
I have decided to get my RPA Designation.  I think we will see how quickly the next 3 years fly by.  The last 10 years have slipped right past me, I expect the next few to be even quicker!!!
Wish me luck!!!

  4. where the hell DID the last 10 years go? Seriously. I'm not complaining. Getting older and doing grown up stuff is awesome. But I am just not sure how we got from 18 to here (or less than 18 for some who aren't as old as me!)

  6. So I have been stalking people all morning. I've been looking at people's blogs. It stared by Laura saying that I should go onto Charlie's FB page cause she's having a Vinilla Latte from Starbucks which I love. Then I saw that she had a blog. I decided that I had nothing better to do so I stgarted reading it...from start to finish I might add. Then I remembered someting that Laura said ab out reading the other Laura's blog. I noticed that she commented on one of Charlie's posts so then I clicked on her name and up popped her blog. I also read her blog start to finsh. Strange as I don't even know her. She seems like a great mum and Ella is beuatiful.
Then I noticed that Joelene had a blog too. So I read her's start to finsh as well. I was surprisaed that I couldn't remember all the deatils of Joshua's birth and wish that I had documented it too. I could have done without seeing the placenta though. I must say I was warned, so that's my own fault.
Then wouldn't you believe it, I had noticed that my sister (you Randi) had a blog.
So I bet you won't guess what I read from start to finish. It was so nice that you came home for my wedding. I didn't excpet you too cause it was such short notice. I planned the whole wedding in 4 days that includes getting the license and the venue and flowers and commisioner...just everything.
Again it's nice to read about you and how your life is going cause we don't talk very often. Keep doing it and I will try and stop being a stalker as much as I have been today.
